Principles

  • Show the math. Tools print the formula next to the result, including units (currency, spins, or playthrough multiple).
  • Name the assumptions. Game contribution, wagering multiple, stake, and RTP are inputs you provide or we label as examples — not scraped operator promises.
  • No unsourced operator claims. We do not publish a casino’s RTP, bonus, or licence status unless there is a cited source and a review path. This site currently publishes none of those claims.
  • Education, not prediction. Expected value and house edge describe long-run statistics. They do not forecast a session.

What we calculate

  1. Wagering playthrough = bonus amount × wagering multiple ÷ contribution rate. Live on the wagering requirement calculator— optional max-bet and expiry fields estimate minimum bets and stake-per-day; they do not change the playthrough total.
  2. Bonus true value: bonus after any cap, effective turnover at the contribution rate, then expected wagering cost = effective turnover × (1 − RTP). Live on the bonus true-value calculator. This is a long-run statistical estimate of stated terms, not a session prediction or a profit promise.
  3. House edge = 1 − RTP, for a stated RTP input. Expected cost = stake volume × house edge. Live on the RTP and house-edge calculator.

The safer-play budget planner is listed in the tool catalog as not live. This page does not publish a URL or a formula for it until that tool ships.

Worked examples use round numbers so you can reproduce them with a calculator. If a later data source disagrees with an example, the example stays labeled as an example.

Corrections

If a formula or label is wrong, use the contact page. We would rather ship a narrower tool than a confident one with hidden terms.
