How this is calculated
Nothing is fetched from a casino. The model uses only the numbers you type.
Qualifying base
bonus only, or deposit + bonus
Gross wagering
qualifying base × wagering multiple
What the requirement would be at 100% contribution.
Effective turnover
gross wagering ÷ contribution rate
The same playthrough math is on the wagering requirement calculator. The sourcing contract is on the methodology page.
Worked example (hypothetical)
A $100 bonus, 35x on the bonus only, 20% contribution:
- Gross wagering
- $100 × 35 = $3,500
- Effective turnover
- $3,500 ÷ 0.20 = $17,500
- Extra versus 100%
- $17,500 − $3,500 = $14,000
Assumptions and limitations
- The contribution rate applies uniformly to every stake you enter.
- Game restrictions and excluded titles are outside the model.
- This is education, not gambling, legal, tax, or financial advice.
Play within limits
Extra turnover is a cost disclosure, not a target. If gambling is causing harm, use the responsible gambling page. 18+ only.
Frequently asked questions
What does a 20% contribution mean?
Only $0.20 of each $1 stake counts toward the wagering requirement. You must place five times the headline turnover in actual bets. The offer’s terms list the rate by game type.
Does this change the wagering multiple itself?
No. The multiple stays what the offer states. Contribution changes how much of each bet counts, which raises the total you must actually stake.
Is a higher contribution always better?
A higher contribution lowers the extra turnover this model shows. It does not make an offer profitable, and it does not predict your session.
